To best serve my clients, I have continued my studies to obtain the Accredited Asset Management Specialist and the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor certifications from the College for Financial Planning. I served 11 years active duty in the United States Navy and completed four deployments. I was an MH-60S Helicopter Pilot with HSC-9 and the GHWB Strike Group, an Adjunct Instructor at the United States Naval Academy, a Sexual Assault Prevention and Response deputy program manager, volunteer with the men's and women's intercollegiate sailing team and mentored aspiring aviators. My last tour was aboard USS Harry S. Truman as Assistant Air Operations Officer, orchestrating daily flight operations through another two deployments. What was most impactful to me over my years of service was being a mentor to sailors and midshipmen. I wanted to get to know people deeply and support their rise to personal growth and success. I continue that calling today with Sr. Branch Office Administrator, Jerri Thompson, who joined me in 2022. She shares over a decade of Edward Jones experience and works alongside me, serving the individuals, families and businesses in our care. Together, we help each client grow and succeed by designing their rise to financial confidence, freedom and legacy, and help keep them on track. I was raised in Pittsburgh, PA but have grown to call Hampton Roads home over the past decade. I live in the community of Hampton to split a commute with my partner, Jordan, an Army WO2 stationed at Fort Eustis. We have three crazy dogs: Gunner, Brady and Riggins, that keep our hands and hearts full.
